Goodwill’s business model is built on recycling. Donated goods are kept out of landfills and given a "new life" when purchased at one of our stores.

Most recently Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake has committed to learning more about being green throughout all our divisions and in all our business practices.

Goodwill’s Green Initiatives Include:

• Develop job training and placement in assistance in the environmental and green industry
• Reduce material and energy costs
• Resell, Reuse, and Recycle everything that is donated
