Larry came to Baltimore from Washington DC, where he had gained most of his work experience. However, due to a series of costly decisions, his freedom had been jeopardized. After being released from prison, Larry returned home with no family to lean on.
He came to Goodwill and enrolled in the Transitional Work Program, but found it difficult to get on-job-training while living in a men’s shelter. Larry was persistent and determined to make things work and change his life. He was rewarded with a full-time opportunity at Goodwill’s Operations Warehouse and was recently able to successfully move into his own residence.
