Goodwill offers a wide range of training classes, case management and career services all designed to help individuals find employment, improve their skill set or change career paths. Goodwill’s staff seeks to place job seekers in high growth industries with the potential for career growth, living wages and benefits. Each training program is individually tailored so that each person is able to achieve their desired goals. 

Goodwill’s Programs Include: 

Skills Training Programs – Our efforts are to assist people in making the transition from unemployment to becoming successful, contributing members of their communities.

CNA/GNA Program– 12 week Certified/Geriatric Nursing Assistant Program designed to prepare individuals for a career as a Nursing Assistant.

Building Trades Program4 course Building Maintenance program designed to help individuals prepare for a career in Building Trades.

Early Head Start Program: Waverly & Coppin

The Waverly Early Head Start Center of Goodwill and The Coppin State Child Development Center operated by Goodwill are federally funded program for children from birth to 36 months. The center provides comprehensive individualized early education experiences to enhance children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Pre-natal support and education are also provided. The program strives to enable parents to be the best caregivers and teachers for their children, as well as assist parents with meeting their own goals.

SEETTS (Supporting Ex-Offenders in Employment, Training, and Transitional Services)SEETTS offers training and support for ex-offenders that are seeking employment.

Lower Shore Career Center

For more than ten years, the Lower Shore Career Development Center has served residents in Salisbury, MD. The Center provides job readiness skills training, clerical & computer skills training, job placement assistance and career counseling to the Lower Eastern Shore by working with a variety of local agencies, such as the Department of Rehabilitations, Department of Social Services, Mental Health Department and One Stop Job Market in an effort to assist disadvantaged individuals with obtaining employment.
