Achieving the Mission:  Placements in 2015

Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake placed over 3,263 people into jobs in the Baltimore metro area and the Eastern Shore in 2015. Revenue from donated goods enables Goodwill to provide job training and placement services to people in need of assistance because of physical, mental or other social barriers. These programs are available to adults and youth who have disabilities, criminal backgrounds, lack education or job experience or are facing employment challenges. Additionally, 91% of our revenue generated goes to support our programs. (CharityWatch considers a charity to be highly efficient when end calculations produce a program percentage of 75% or higher).
