Items Eligible for Return

We accept returns for clothing and electronic items (including new goods and donated items), provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item was purchased from a Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake Retail Store,
  • Returns must be made within 7 days of the original purchase date,
  • The item must have the original Goodwill tags attached, and
  • The original receipt must accompany the merchandise being returned.

Note: Unfortunately, we cannot process returns for undergarments, lingerie, or swimwear, regardless of whether they are new or donated items.

Return Guidelines

  • Cash Purchases: Refunds will be issued as a Goodwill gift card in the amount of the original purchase.
  • Credit/Debit Purchases: Refunds will be processed back to the same credit or debit card used during the purchase. If this is not possible, the refund will also be issued in the form of a Goodwill gift card.
  • Purchases Made with Loyalty Points: Refunds will only apply to any additional cash or credit card amount used to complete the transaction.
