For the last 17 years, the community has come together to support Goodwill of the Chesapeake’s local programs with the annual Gridiron Halloween Party, and time is running out to get your tickets for this year’s event. Thanks to the generosity of many sponsors, including our Hall of Fame Sponsor, Whiting-Turner, and the Baltimore Ravens, the benefit is expected to raise nearly $135,000 for Goodwill’s training and employment programs, which help individuals with barriers to employment.

The 17th Annual Goodwill Gridiron Halloween Party will be held at Dave & Buster’s at Arundel Mills Mall on Monday, October 17 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Many Baltimore Ravens attend the benefit each year, and we are excited to have Justin Tucker, Dennis Pitta and Lawrence Guy hosting. In addition to bowling, there will be dancing, a costume contest, catered food, an open bar, a silent auction, video games and billiards. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on many exciting items, including trips to Costa Rica and Napa Valley; gift certificates from local restaurants and hotels; autographed memorabilia from the Ravens, The Rolling Stones, Barack Obama, and Michael Phelps.

We hope you’ll join us for this fun, festive way to celebrate Halloween while supporting Goodwill’s programs, which help approximately 3,500 individuals obtain jobs each year, giving them “not charity, but a chance.” Tickets are $150 each ($65 of which is tax deductible) and can be purchased at www.goodwillgridiron.com. Costumes are optional but encouraged!
