At Goodwill, we do not believe that real change can be accomplished through charity alone; rather, change is accomplished by giving individuals the chance to better themselves. Goodwill Industries, Inc. has been an active community servant for almost a century, and Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc., specifically, has been able to connect more than 2,500 hardworking individuals to jobs that suit them.

Such an impact would never have been possible without the many donations that we receive each day, and the benefactors that make those donations. To that end, we want to make it as easy as possible for our clients to shop, donate, and to help build a better tomorrow for those we serve. We have heard the feedback that our shoppers, benefactors, and employment partners have offered, and we have taken it to heart!

After almost a full year of development, we are excited to launch our new website for Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc.! We have revamped this site to provide a better online resource for our shoppers and our benefactors, and to provide a network of opportunities for employees and employers. We have made dozens of improvements to our web presence, including our new Store Locator System, Promotions, Environmental Impact, Mobile Capability, our first company Blog and so much more.

Goodwill’s primary objective is to help individuals with barriers to employment become self-sufficient through training and employment services. Our new web site has been redesigned from the ground up to help us better achieve this goal.

We are looking forward to seeing our business grow as a result of our new web presence and we can’t wait to use that web presence to give more hardworking individuals a fresh start.     What day do you pick up in Cockeysville? I have to be out of my apartment by 1/15/2016.
