Here’s what makes this opportunity so impactful:

Graduates can earn both their Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) Certificate and EPA 608 Environmental Protection Certification. These credentials are highly sought-after in the industry and can help you stand out in today’s competitive job market.
- Expertly Designed Curriculum
The program covers four essential courses for building trades professionals:
-
- VOA 969 Safety Tools & Methods
- VOA 970 Basic HVAC Electricity
- VOA 520 Intermediate HVACR for Building Maintenance Technicians
- VOA 556 Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician
- A Flexible Schedule for Working Adults

Why This Program Matters
At Goodwill, we understand how tough it can feel to get ahead when barriers like limited access to training or job experience stand in the way. That’s why this program was built with accessibility in mind.
This is a background-friendly program, offering a fresh opportunity for individuals who show determination and motivation to succeed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and applicants will need to achieve a qualifying score on the Adult Basic Education (TABE) assessment—but don’t worry, we support you every step of the way.
For many participants, this program represents something more than education. It’s hope. Hope that’s supported by real credentials, real training, and real jobs.
