Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake is proud to announce the promotion of Scott Hollingsworth to Chief Operating Officer.

In this expanded role, Scott will oversee a wide-ranging portfolio that includes Donated Goods Retail, E-commerce, Transportation, Recycling & Sustainability, Real Estate, Legal, Maintenance, POS, Information Technology, and Finance. His strategic leadership and operational insight will be instrumental as we continue to grow our mission and expand our impact across the region.

Scott has served as Chief Financial Officer for the past four years, where he brought a steady hand and forward-thinking vision to our financial operations. His leadership has helped strengthen our financial foundation and position us for long-term success.

Before joining Goodwill, Scott held leadership roles across a variety of industries—including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and international development—at globally recognized organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Stanley Black & Decker, and Catholic Relief Services. His cross-functional expertise in finance, technology, and business models brings a powerful and strategic perspective to our executive team.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Please join us in congratulating Scott on this well-earned promotion. We are excited for the future under his expanded leadership!
