Jonathan Balog and Wallace Beal discuss how employers can get involved with Goodwill, career paths and working in apprenticeship programs. They are then joined by Alex Smith, founder of Division Street Landscaping (22:45) and discuss his journey from prison to the workforce, and how he is now helping others conquer a similar path.

Alex Smith is my supervisor as we work for him in the community cleanup. he came to my church and said that if we live in the community(Brooklyn) he wanted to give us a job. So we signed up .and the team includes five of us.and we sweep, pass out trash cans .we have request from the community to sweep up there block.we have been sweeping in Brooklyn for 6 months and what a difference. Alex Smith is a motivator he’s a gentle but far and firm supervisor. he is doing such a good job. and I am proud to work for him the pay is 15 dollars an hour .and it’s my part-time job.
